Our Functional Fitness classes are based primarily on kettle-bell and body-weight (calisthenic) training. We also include some other functional training tools such as tyres, battle ropes, agility ladders and weighted carries. We use these tools because they are some of the most effective for developing general fitness; strength, ‘cardio’, endurance, mobility, coordination, etc. You can do a lot with little using these methods.

Some level of technical learning is required, but we keep our training as simple as possible. Mastering the process is part of what keeps people coming back. Most of our ‘regulars’ have been training with us for more than five years. We recommend you commit to one months training to get a feel of whether it is for you. To join the classes you will need a one to one intro session, which we will include in your first month at no extra charge.

Classes are open to all abilities.  Our members include people with very little previous training as well as competitive runners, boxers and martial artists who are looking to add something else to their training.
